Review & LOTD: Beauty Rush Glossy Tint Lip Sheen in Blush, Blush

Today, I'm going to review the Glossy Tint Lip Sheen in the color Blush, Blush from Beauty Rush. Beauty Rush is a line from the beauty segment of the International label Victoria's Secret.

On first look this Glossy Tint Lip Sheen appears to be like the Chubby Stick from Clinique. Even though I have not used the Chubby Stick, from the reviews available online I have this feeling that the 2 are very different in formula and usage. However, I must admit that the packing is very very similar.

The packaging shown in this review is the older version (and resembles the chubby stick) but the newer version has signature VS stripes and looks quite different.

Company Claims:
" Shine. Sparkle. Steal the Spotlight. Glossy Tint Lip Sheen Gives you a hint of shiny color for lips that feel soft, smooth and moisturized."

Quantity: 2.2 g/.078 oz
Price: $9 each or $15/2 or $20/4

 Color: Blush, Blush (official)
The color I feel is a hot Fuschia with undertones of Violet.

Texture: True to product description, the Glossy Tint Lip Sheen has all the effects of a Gloss a tint and has quite a bit of sheen to it. Let me explain.
As you apply the Glossy Lip Tint, you get a vibrant dose of color in a single application. The color pay off will blow you away. It has that sheen to it which adds to the 'oomph' factor and makes it perfect even for night wear. On application, you will figure that the product looks like a gloss but isn't sticky at all and is very comfortable to wear. You will soon forget that you are wearing anything at all on your lips and it seems to have the consistency of a lip balm. It does not settle into fine lines.
Staying Power: The product is as good as any lipstick and stays put for at least 4-5 hrs. After the first couple of hours, the glossy effect will go away and you will be left with a shiny lip color which will hide your lip pigmentation nonetheless. After another hour or two, the sheen goes away and your lips look matte with a burst of color still showing on them.

It does not stain tea cups or utensils except for the first time that you make contact with the utensil but that stain is also negligible. The product wears off quite uniformly and at no point in time will it make your lips feel dry. In fact it is quite moisturizing.

All in all, from the pigmentation to the effects to the staying power to the texture, I shall rate it 10/10. I most definitely love this product and will recommend it to all you ladies out there. It is definitely worth your money!
